Decadent Hot Chocolate

Posted: Wednesday, 14 August 2013 by Robyn

To fulfill requests from various media outlets and to update photos on the new Destination Rutherglen website (only sort of working at the moment though!!**??) I asked Tony Reeckman - local farmer, friendly neighbour, cycling fanatic and great photographer to take some new photos of our decadent Hot Chocolate - no powder or syrup to be seen - just good quality dark couverture - simply the best!!!

GREAT PHOTO TONY!!!!

The CWA Teapot Story

Posted: Sunday, 16 June 2013 by Robyn

We are really enjoying meeting lots of new people and some of these are visiting Renaissance Chocolates via coach tour or group.  Rowlfy jumps on board the coach for a personalised welcome and then our guests enjoy a coffee or tea and a white chocolate scone while Neil tells them how we make our wonderful  handmade chocolates.  To make this a little easier I have been searching high and low for a large CWA type teapot.  My sister eventually found me one after an original 'tealady' answered an advertisement.  The teapot was given to her as a gift on her departure but she no longer had room for it and was looking to re-home it.  Lucky me!!! So 'Tilly' the teapot has come to live with me and I am thrilled.  My gorgeous Mum has knitted Tilly a cosy and with a visit from the Murray Heritage Motorists on Sunday she got her first outing.  She didn't dribble, spill or spurt but poured a beautiful cuppa for our visitors.  Welcome Tilly Teapot to the Renaissance Chocolates family.
